How it works
VoxWave detects the process name of the active application (via Win32 on Windows, xdotool/wnck on Linux) and assigns a cleanup profile automatically.
Code profile — VS Code, terminals, IDEs
Regex cleanup only (no LLM). Removes hesitations and adds punctuation, but never rephrases. Ideal for dictating comments, commit messages or technical notes.

In a terminal, VoxWave never modifies your commands — dictated text is injected as-is after minimal cleanup.
Casual profile — Slack, Discord, Telegram
Light LLM cleanup: removes fillers, adds punctuation, keeps the conversational style without rephrasing.
Email profile — Outlook, Thunderbird
Professional LLM cleanup: corrected grammar, polished punctuation, formal tone suited for professional communication.
Document profile — Word, LibreOffice, Notion
Full LLM cleanup: clean rephrasing, structured paragraphs, polished writing style.
