These Terms of Service govern the use of the VoxWave software and the voxwave.app website. By using VoxWave, you agree to these terms in their entirety.

2. Description of Service

VoxWave is a voice dictation application for Windows and Linux. It transcribes speech to text, cleans up the text using artificial intelligence, and injects it directly into any application.

The software operates in local mode (processing on your machine) or cloud mode (via third-party APIs such as Groq and OpenAI), depending on your configuration.

3. Access and Registration

VoxWave is available as a free download. Some advanced features may require a paid license (Pro plan). No registration is required to use the free version.

4. License

VoxWave grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the software. You may not:

• Modify, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the software
• Use the software for illegal purposes
• Circumvent licensing or protection mechanisms

5. Third-Party Services

In cloud mode, VoxWave relies on third-party services (Groq, OpenAI). Use of these services is subject to their own terms. VoxWave is not responsible for any interruptions or changes to these services.

You are responsible for managing your API keys and any costs associated with using these services.

6. Limitation of Liability

VoxWave is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the software will be free from errors or interruptions.

In no event shall VoxWave be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software, including loss of data or inaccuracy of transcriptions.

7. Intellectual Property

The VoxWave software, its source code, design, text, and logos are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

8. Changes to Terms

VoxWave reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. It is your responsibility to review this page regularly.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by applicable law. Any dispute relating to the use of VoxWave shall be submitted to the competent courts.
